May 1, 2021: New Lenox, IL 60451 The Lincoln-Way West Warriors softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Ottawa Pirates to 0 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Lincoln-Way West improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Lockport (Lockport, IL) to clash with the Porters in a non-league game on Monday, May 3. The Porters come into the game with a record of 5-5. Lockport won 14-4 in their recent non-league game against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL)
In their next game, the Pirates clash with the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers (LaSalle, IL) in a Interstate Eight game, on Monday, May 3. Ottawa will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Cavaliers come into the game with a 6-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Normal Community (Normal, IL).
