May 1, 2022: Wexford, PA 15090 In Sunday's non-league contest, the North Allegheny Tigers (Wexford, PA) lacrosse squad edged the visiting St. Ignatius Wildcats (Cleveland, OH), by a count of 10-9.
Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 2 contest, on Wednesday, May 4. North Allegheny will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 5-8 record after their 14-3 league win over Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA).
The Wildcats now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host St. Edward for a Region 2 contest on Wednesday, May 4. St. Ignatius will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 18-9 non-league loss to Kiski School (Saltsburg, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-5.
