Spectators at Monday's league battle between the Austin Eagles (Austin, IN) and the host Salem Lions (Salem, IN), saw Austin's baseball squad knock off Salem by a count of 10-1.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Henryville Hornets (Henryville, IN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, May 2. Austin will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Hornets go into the match with a 7-8 record after their 22-0 league win over Crothersville (Crothersville, IN).
