Georgia High School Baseball - Westwood nips Covenant Academy
May 1, 2023: Camilla, GA 31730 Westwood Wildcats (Camilla, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Covenant Academy (Macon, GA), 6-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Westwood upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, May 5. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 9-7. Piedmont Academy won 14-0 in their recent non-league test against Central Georgia Arts (Macon, GA)
With the defeat, Covenant Academy falls to 8-13 on the season.
