May 1, 2023: West Chicago, IL 60185 Wheaton Academy Warriors (West Chicago, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family (Downers Grove, IL), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Warriors clash with the St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL) in a Metro Suburban match, on Tuesday, May 2. Wheaton Academy will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Green Wave come into the match with a 3-14 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Harvest Christian Academy (Elgin, IL).
With the loss, Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family drops to 8-3 on the campaign. The host Families of Faith Christian Academy (Channahon, IL) to clash with the Screaming Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, May 4. The Screaming Eagles come into the match with a record of 0-2.
