West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host East Buchanan Bulldogs (Gower, MO), 8-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, West Platte upgrades its record to 18-6 on the season. The Bluejays host South Nodaway (Barnard, MO) to battle the Longhorns in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 7. The Longhorns come into the test with a record of 6-5.

With the defeat, East Buchanan falls to 8-17 on the season. The Bulldogs host Worth County (Grant City, MO) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, May 3. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-6.
