Gainesville Cardinals (Gainesville, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA), 16-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Gainesville upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Riverside (Leesburg, VA) to battle the Ram in a non-league test on Friday, May 3.
