Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH) and the visiting Liberty Leopards (Youngstown, OH), saw Western Reserve's baseball squad knock off Liberty by a count of 16-1.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils play the Chaney Cowboys (Youngstown, OH) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 2. Western Reserve will attempt to move on its 3-14 season record. The Cowboys enter the battle with a 1-8 record after their 22-6 non-league loss to McKinley (Niles, OH).

The Leopards now possess a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newton Falls for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Grey battle on Thursday, May 2. Liberty will play a Tigers squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Memorial (Campbell, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 10-7.
