Illinois High School Baseball - Normal University gets by Normal Community
May 1, 2024: Normal, IL 61761 Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL), 6-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Normal University upgrades its record to 20-6 on the season. The Pioneers travel to MacArthur (Decatur, IL) to battle the Generals in a Central State Eight test on Thursday, May 2. The Generals come into the test with a record of 4-14. MacArthur lost 16-0 in their recent league test against Rochester (Rochester, IL)
With the defeat, Normal Community falls to 24-3 on the season. The Ironmen host Bloomington (Bloomington, IL) to battle the Purple Raiders in a Big Twelve test on Friday, May 3. The Purple Raiders come into the test with a record of 14-9. Bloomington lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Champaign Central (Champaign, IL)
