May 1, 2024: Kennett Square, PA 19348 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Lancaster Mennonite Blazers (Lancaster, PA) and the host Kennett Blue Demons (Kennett Square, PA), saw Lancaster Mennonite's volleyball squad beat Kennett by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Lancaster Mennonite upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Blazers travel to Ephrata (Ephrata, PA) to play the Mountaineers in a Lancaster Lebanon Section Two bout on Thursday, May 2. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Ephrata lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Manheim Central (Manheim, PA)
The Blue Demons now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Lower Merion for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 2. Kennett will play a Aces squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Academy at Palumbo (Philadelphia, PA). The Aces record now stands at 5-12.
