May 1, 2024: Powhatan, VA 23139 The Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) lacrosse triumphed over the host Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA), 15-8 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Western Albemarle upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to battle the Flying Flucos in a Jefferson outing on Friday, May 3. The Flying Flucos go into the outing with a record of 4-7. Fluvanna County lost 17-7 in their recent league outing against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA)
With the defeat, Powhatan drops to 8-2 on the season. The Indians host Monacan (Richmond, VA) to battle the Chiefs in a Dominion outing on Thursday, May 2. The Chiefs go into the outing with a record of 4-6. Monacan won 20-8 in their recent non-league outing against Thomas Dale (Chester, VA)
