North Carolina High School Soccer - Sun Valley nudges Community School of Davidson
May 1, 2024: Davidson, NC 28036 The Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) soccer nudged the host Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC), 6-5 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
With the win, Sun Valley moves its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Weddington (Matthews, NC) to battle the Warriors in a Southern Carolina 4A bout on Tuesday, May 7. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Weddington won 1-0 in their recent league bout against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC)
In their next game, the Spartans play the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, May 2. Community School of Davidson will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 15-2 record after their 11-0 league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC).
