New Jersey High School Lacrosse - Eastern Christian drops to Newark Academy
May 1, 2024: North Haledon, NJ 07508 In Wednesday's league test, the visiting Newark Academy Minutemen lacrosse squad scored a good 16-5 victory over the Eastern Christian Eagles.
The Minutemen now have a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montclair Kimberley Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, May 4. Newark Academy will face a Cougars squad coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 6-4.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Hawthorne Bears (Hawthorne, NJ) in a Dowling test, on Thursday, May 2. Eastern Christian will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 8-2 record after their 6-5 league win over Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ).
