Minnesota High School Softball - Highland Park holds off Washburn
May 1, 2024: St. Paul, MN 55116 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Highland Park Scots (St. Paul, MN) and the visiting Washburn Millers (Minneapolis, MN), witnessed Highland Park's softball squad tip Washburn by a count of 5-3.
The Scots now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Paul Central for a St. Paul City match on Thursday, May 2. Highland Park will meet a Minutemen squad coming off a 12-8 non-league loss to Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, MN). The Minutemen record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Washburn moves to 3-5 on the season. The Millers host Como Park (St. Paul, MN) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, May 3. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 2-5. Como Park lost 15-11 in their recent non-league match against Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN)
