May 1, 2024: Frankfort, IL 60423 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Lincoln-Way East Griffins softball team scored a close 7-6 win over the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs.
Coming up next, the Griffins battle the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban outing, on Thursday, May 2. Lincoln-Way East will attempt to upgrade on its 17-9 season record. The Vikings enter the outing with a 9-12 record after their 7-3 league loss to Sandburg (Orland Park, IL).
The Bulldogs (14-7) will now prepare for their outing against Ridgewood (Norridge, IL). The Rebels enter the Metro Suburban outing with a 6-10 record. In their last outing, Ridgewood was tipped by Antioch (Antioch, IL), 14-5, in a non-league outing.
