In Thursday's non-league bout, the Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Burrell Bucs (Lower Burrell, PA), by a score of 18-12.

Next up, the River Hawks encounter the Indiana Little Indians (Indiana, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 5. Armstrong will attempt to advance on its 7-11 season record. The Little Indians enter the bout with a 16-1 record after their 5-3 non-league win over DuBois (DuBois, PA).

The Bucs (12-7) will now prepare for their bout against Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 6-12 record. In their last bout, Shady Side Academy edged East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA), 9-0, in a league bout.
