The Defiance Bulldogs baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Central Catholic Fighting Irish to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now own a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they host Elida for a Western Buckeye test on Friday, May 2. Defiance will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Celina (Celina, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-7.

With the defeat, Central Catholic drops to 4-13 on the year. The Fighting irish travel to St. Francis de Sales (Toledo, OH) to clash with the Knights in a Three Rivers test on Friday, May 2. The Knights go into the test with a record of 11-8. St. Francis de Sales won 2-0 in their recent league test against Catholic Central (Novi, MI)
