California High School Baseball - Cypress defeats Ocean View
May 1, 2025: Cypress, CA 90630 In Thursday's non-league game, the host Cypress Centurions baseball team scored a close 7-1 victory over the Ocean View Seahawks.
The Centurions (16-10) will now prepare for their game against El Modena (Orange, CA). The Vanguards go into the Crestview challenge with a 11-16 record. In their last challenge, El Modena was overwhelmed by El Dorado (Placentia, CA), 5-4, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, Ocean View drops to 11-16 on the year. The Seahawks host Fullerton (Fullerton, CA) to clash with the Indians in a Empire challenge on Tuesday, May 6. The Indians go into the challenge with a record of 18-8. Fullerton won 7-1 in their recent league challenge against Laguna Hills (Laguna Hills, CA)
