Next up, the Titans encounter the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 3 outing, on Monday, May 5. Shaler Area will attempt to advance on its 11-4 season record. The Fightin' Planets enter the outing with a 9-9 record after their 8-4 non-league loss to Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA).
The Talbots (5-13) will now prepare for their outing against Central Valley (Monaca, PA). The Warriors enter the WPIAL 4A 1 outing with a 9-8 record. In their last outing, Central Valley edged Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA), 13-5, in a league outing.
