New Jersey High School Volleyball - Passaic County Tech can't get by Payne Tech
May 1, 2025: Wayne, NJ 07470 Payne Tech Lions (Newark, NJ) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Passaic County Tech Bulldogs (Wayne, NJ), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Payne Tech advances its record to 9-4 on the season. The Lions host Newark Tech (Newark, NJ) to face the Terries in a non-league test on Monday, May 5. The Terries go into the test with a record of 1-11. Newark Tech lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ)
The Bulldogs now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bergen Tech for a Big North - Liberty test on Friday, May 2. Passaic County Tech will face a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bergen Charter (Hackensack, NJ). The Knights record now stands at 8-4.
