May 1, 2025: Springfield, VA 22150 Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting Hayfield Hawks (Alexandria, VA), 2-0 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Lewis improves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Lancers host Edison (Alexandria, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, May 8. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 0-4.
The Hawks now have a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Vernon for a non-league game on Tuesday, May 6.
