May 1, 2025: Palos Heights, IL 60463 The Joliet West Tigers soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Shepard Astros to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Sandburg for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 3. Joliet West will play a Eagles squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Shepard moves to 4-7 on the year. The Astros travel to Aurora East (Aurora, IL) to play the Tomcats in a non-league bout on Friday, May 2. The Tomcats go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Aurora East lost 4-1 in their recent non-league bout against Oswego (Oswego, IL)
