In Thursday's non-league contest, the host North Davidson Black Knights lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-6 win over the Southwest Guilford Cowboys.

The Black Knights (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-17 record. In their last contest, Glenn was nipped by Davie (Mocksville, NC), 20-3, in a league contest.

Next, the Cowboys meet the Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro contest, on Friday, May 2. Southwest Guilford will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 11-4 record after their 19-2 league win over Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
