Illinois High School Lacrosse - Plainfield Co-op nipped by Riverside-Brookfield
May 1, 2025: Riverside, IL 60546 Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the visiting Plainfield Co-op Cheetahs (Plainfield, IL), 11-10 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Riverside-Brookfield improves its record to 1-10 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Wheaton-Warrenville South/Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Monday, May 5. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 4-7. Wheaton-Warrenville South/Wheaton North lost 15-5 in their recent non-league game against Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL)
The Cheetahs now have a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Normal Community for a Southwestern game on Saturday, May 10. Plainfield Co-op will play a Ironmen team coming off a 13-6 league win over Dunlap (Dunlap, IL). The Ironmen record now stands at 2-5.
