Illinois High School Soccer - Belleville West knocks off Union Grove
May 1, 2025: Belleville, IL 62223 In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Belleville West Maroons soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Union Grove Broncos.
The Maroons (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Wheaton Academy got by Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL), 9-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Broncos play the Quincy Blue Devils (Quincy, IL) in a non-league outing, on Friday, May 2. Union Grove will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a 5-7 record after their 4-1 league loss to Geneseo (Geneseo, IL).
