May 1, 2025: DeKalb, IL 60115 The DeKalb Barbs edged the visiting Rochelle Hubs soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Barbs face the Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) in a DuPage Valley game, on Tuesday, May 6. DeKalb will attempt to advance on its 3-12 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 10-3 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Lane Tech (Chicago, IL).
The Hubs (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Lutheran (Rockford, IL). The Crusaders come into the non-league test with a 1-13 record. In their last test, Lutheran was tipped by Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL), 3-1, in a league test.
