In Thursday's non-league bout, the Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) baseball squad the visiting Lapel Bulldogs (Lapel, IN), by a tally of 8-4.

Next up, the Eagles encounter the Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN) in a bout, on Saturday, May 3. Delta will attempt to upgrade on its 9-0 season record. The Golden Bears enter the bout with a 5-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Guerin Catholic (Noblesville, IN).
