Virginia High School Soccer - Lakeland toppled by Great Bridge
May 1, 2025: Suffolk, VA 23434 Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team overwhelm the host Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA), 17-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Great Bridge advances its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Indian River (Chesapeake, VA) to clash with the Braves in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. The Braves come into the test with a record of 2-0.
The Cavaliers now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hickory for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. Lakeland will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 7-1.
