Washington High School Soccer - Sumner knocks off Olympia
May 1, 2025: Olympia, WA 98501 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Sumner Spartans (Sumner, WA) and the host Olympia Bears (Olympia, WA), saw Sumner's soccer squad prevail over Olympia by a count of 4-0.
The Spartans (11-0) will now prepare for their battle against Emerald Ridge (South Hill, WA). The Jaguars enter the non-league battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Emerald Ridge tipped Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Bears battle the South Kitsap Wolves (Port Orchard, WA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 6. Olympia will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Wolves enter the battle with a 4-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Rogers (Puyallup, WA).
