Pennsylvania High School Lacrosse - Mars overwhelms Sewickley Academy
May 1, 2025: Mars, PA 16046 Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) and the visiting Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA), witnessed Mars's lacrosse squad top Sewickley Academy by a count of 13-4.
The Fightin' Planets (14-2) will now prepare for their contest against Winchester Thurston (Pittsburgh, PA). The enter the WPIAL 2A 2 contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Winchester Thurston was overwhelmed by Indiana (Indiana, PA), 16-3, in a league contest.
Next, the meet the Indiana Little Indians (Indiana, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 2 contest, on Monday, May 5. Sewickley Academy will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Little Indians enter the contest with a 8-6 record after their 16-3 league win over Winchester Thurston (Pittsburgh, PA).
