Virginia High School Soccer - Deep Creek toppled by Hickory
May 1, 2025: Chesapeake, VA 23323 Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA), 6-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Hickory moves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Hawks host Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to meet the Cavaliers in a Southeastern test on Tuesday, May 6. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 2-7. Lakeland lost 8-0 in their recent league test against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA)
The Hornets now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Taylor for a non-league test on Monday, May 5. Deep Creek will meet a Titans team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Norview (Norfolk, VA). The Titans record now stands at 1-9.
