Virginia High School Soccer - Grafton nudges Lafayette
May 1, 2025: Williamsburg, VA 23188 Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Grafton Clippers (Yorktown, VA) and the host Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA), saw Grafton's soccer squad hold off Lafayette by a count of 3-2.
The Clippers (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Warhill (Williamsburg, VA). The Lions enter the Bay Rivers battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Warhill tipped Poquoson (Poquoson, VA), 4-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Rams confront the Poquoson Islanders (Poquoson, VA) in a Bay Rivers battle, on Monday, May 5. Lafayette will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Islanders enter the battle with a 4-7 record after their 4-1 league loss to Warhill (Williamsburg, VA).
