New York High School Softball - Canastota bounces Oriskany
May 1, 2025: Canastota, NY 13032 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Canastota Red Raiders softball team scored a nice 8-0 win over the Oriskany Skyhawks .
The Red Raiders (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Westmoreland (Westmoreland, NY). The Bulldogs come into the Section 3 Center State I match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Westmoreland was routed by Adirondack (Boonville, NY), 8-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Skyhawks confront the Morrisville-Eaton Mavericks (Morrisville, NY) in a Section 3 Center State III match, on Monday, May 5. Oriskany will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Mavericks come into the match with a 4-2 record after their 10-6 non-league loss to McGraw (McGraw, NY).
