May 1, 2025: Morehead, KY 40351 The Rowan County Vikings got by the visiting Henry Clay Blue Devils softball squad by a count of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Vikings meet the Bowling Green Purples (Bowling Green, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 5. Rowan County will attempt to upgrade on its 19-5 season record. The Purples go into the challenge with a 14-12 record after their 10-7 non-league win over Todd County Central (Elkton, KY).
The Blue Devils (7-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 7-14 record.
