New Jersey High School Softball - Penns Grove drops to Lindenwold
May 1, 2025: Lindenwold, NJ 08021 Lindenwold Lions (Lindenwold, NJ) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Penns Grove Red Devils (Carneys Point, NJ), 17-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Lindenwold improves its record to 2-7 on the year. The Lions host Woodbury (Woodbury, NJ) to play the Thundering Herd in a Colonial - Patriot game on Tuesday, May 6. The Thundering Herd enter the game with a record of 0-0.
The Red Devils now hold a 0-10 record. They play next when they host LEAP Academy for a non-league game on Friday, May 2. Penns Grove will play a Lancers squad coming off a 19-4 non-league win over Cumberland Christian (Vineland, NJ). The Lancers record now stands at 8-3.
