May 1, 2025: Turin, NY 13473 Lowville Red Raiders (Lowville, NY) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host South Lewis Falcons (Turin, NY), 8-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Lowville upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Red Raiders host Watertown (Watertown, NY) to play the Cyclones in a Section 3 Frontier A game on Saturday, May 3. The Cyclones enter the game with a record of 0-3. Watertown lost 16-7 in their recent league game against Carthage (Carthage, NY)
The Falcons now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Holland Patent for a non-league game on Friday, May 2. South Lewis will play a Golden Knights squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Proctor (Utica, NY). The Golden Knights record now stands at 1-6.
