Massachusetts High School Softball - Notre Dame Academy edges Weymouth
May 1, 2025: South Weymouth, MA 02190 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Notre Dame Academy Cougars (Hingham, MA) and the host Weymouth Wildcats (South Weymouth, MA), observed Notre Dame Academy's softball team get by Weymouth by a tally of 8-6.
The Cougars (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against Hingham (Hingham, MA). The Harbormen go into the non-league bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Hingham by Duxbury (Duxbury, MA), 7-4, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Walpole Timberwolves (Walpole, MA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 7. Weymouth will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 16-0 non-league win over Brookline (Brookline, MA).
