The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Timnath Cubs (Timnath, CO) and the host Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO), saw Timnath's baseball team gain a win over Mead by a tally of 9-7.

The Cubs (13-7) will now prepare for their battle against Poudre (Fort Collins, CO). The Impalas enter the non-league battle with a 7-12 record. In their last battle, Poudre held off Northridge (Greeley, CO), 18-3, in a non-league battle.
