The Bartlett Hawks overwhelmed the host Metea Valley Mustangs softball squad by a count of 13-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Hawks meet the Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 2. Bartlett will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 13-3 league win over Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL).

The Mustangs (5-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Plainfield Central was routed by Yorkville (Yorkville, IL), 15-4, in a league challenge.
