The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT) and the visiting Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT), observed Southington's softball team notch a victory over Platt by a final score of 18-0.

The Blue Knights (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against Mercy (Middletown, CT). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 9-3 record. In their last bout, Mercy gained a win over Hand (Madison, CT), 9-5, in a non-league bout.
