In Saturday's non-league game, the host Millard West Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Lincoln Northeast Rockets.

The Wildcats (22-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Creighton Prep (Omaha, NE). The Junior Jays come into the A District 1 challenge with a 16-12 record. In their last challenge, Creighton Prep beat Millard North (Omaha, NE), 4-3, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Lincoln Northeast falls to 3-25 on the season. The Rockets travel to Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE) to encounter the Silver Hawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 3. The Silver Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 16-10. Lincoln Southwest won 5-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Kearney (Kearney, NE)
