May 10, 2021: Morrisonville, IL 62546 The Morrisonville Mohawks softball team scored 1 runs and limited the visiting Bunker Hill Minutemen to 0 in the Mohawks non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Morrisonville improves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Mohawks host Tri-City/Sangamon Valley (Niantic, IL) to clash with the Tornadoes in a MSM game on Tuesday, May 11. The Tornadoes come into the game with a record of 10-1. Tri-City/Sangamon Valley won 10-0 in their recent league game against Edinburg/South Fork (Kincaid, IL)
In their next game, the Minutemen clash with the Staunton/Mt. Olive Bulldogs (Staunton, IL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 12. Bunker Hill will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 7-4 record after their 4-0 league loss to Gillespie (Gillespie, IL).
