California High School Baseball - El Modena nips La Salle
May 10, 2022: Pasadena, CA 91107 El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host La Salle Lancers (Pasadena, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, El Modena upgrades its record to 21-9 on the season. The Vanguards host South (Torrance, CA) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, May 13. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 19-11. South won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA)
With the defeat, La Salle falls to 17-11 on the season.
