Peters Township Indians (McMurray, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA), 7-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Peters Township upgrades its record to 17-1 on the season. The Indians host South Park (South Park, PA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, May 12. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 14-4. South Park won 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Belle Vernon (Belle Vernon, PA)

With the defeat, Hempfield Area falls to 7-12 on the season. The Spartans host Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 11. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 10-4. Franklin Regional won 10-3 in their recent league test against Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA)
