May 10, 2022: Charlottesville, VA 22902 The Monticello Mustangs lacrosse team scored 15 points and held the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots to 13 in the Mustangs non-league win on Tuesday.
The Mustangs (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets go into the Jefferson game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Orange County was nudged by Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA), 14-7, in a league game.
The Patriots (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Powhatan (Powhatan, VA). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Powhatan nudged Monacan (Richmond, VA), 14-7, in a league game.
