Indiana High School Softball - Wood Memorial knocked off by Perry Central
May 10, 2022: Oakland City, IN 47660 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Perry Central Commodores (Leopold, IN) softball team overwhelmed the host Wood Memorial Trojans (Oakland City, IN), by a margin of 12-1.
With the triumph, Perry Central moves its record to 11-7 on the year. The Commodores host Mitchell (Mitchell, IN) to play the Bluejackets in a Patoka Lake contest on Thursday, May 12. The Bluejackets come into the contest with a record of 10-10. Mitchell lost 10-0 in their recent non-league contest against Bloomington South (Bloomington, IN)
In their next game, the Trojans play the North Posey Vikings (Poseyville, IN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 13. Wood Memorial will attempt to move on its 1-12 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 16-1 record after their 17-0 league win over Boonville (Boonville, IN).
