May 10, 2023: Norwalk, CT 06851 Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) in a Fairfield County match, on Friday, May 12. Greenwich will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Wreckers come into the match with a 3-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT).
With the loss, Norwalk drops to 6-11 on the campaign. The Bears host Stamford (Stamford, CT) to meet the Black Knights in a non-league game on Thursday, May 11. The Black Knights enter the game with a record of 3-11. Stamford lost 3-1 in their recent league game against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT)
