Maine High School Lacrosse - York drops to Yarmouth
May 10, 2023: York, ME 03909 Yarmouth Clippers (Yarmouth, ME) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host York Wildcats (York, ME), 15-5 in a non-league test.
The Clippers now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oxford Hills for a Class A North match on Friday, May 12. Yarmouth will play a Vikings team coming off a 19-6 league win over Lewiston (Lewiston, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 5-4.
With the defeat, York drops to 4-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Lake Region (Naples, ME) to play the Lakers in a non-league match on Friday, May 12. The Lakers go into the match with a record of 3-3. Lake Region lost 17-5 in their recent league match against North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME)
