In Wednesday's non-league contest, the East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) softball team held off the visiting Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN), by a margin of 5-4.

With the triumph, East Central moves its record to 8-15 on the year. The Trojans host Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN) to play the Tigers in a Eastern Indiana contest on Thursday, May 11. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 7-12. Lawrenceburg lost 13-3 in their recent league contest against Connersville (Connersville, IN)
