New York High School Softball - Lakeland bounces Putnam Valley
May 10, 2023: Shrub Oak, NY 10588 The Lakeland Hornets (Shrub Oak, NY) softball routed the visiting Putnam Valley Tigers (Putnam Valley, NY), 14-5 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Hornets (13-4) will now prepare for their bout against Walter Panas (Cortlandt Manor, NY). The Panthers go into the Section 1 II - C bout with a 3-13 record. In their last bout, Walter Panas was routed by Putnam Valley (Putnam Valley, NY), 13-8, in a non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 13-5 record. They play next when they host Walter Panas for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 11. Putnam Valley will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Hendrick Hudson (Montrose, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 3-12.
